Cheep Critique: Greek Festival

We want to make sure that the things we are promoting are both fun and cheep! So, we will sometimes include a "Cheep Critique" to let you know how we felt about certain things.

A couple of weeks ago we all went to the Greek Festival.
Here is the:

Cheep Critique:

Good: fun atmosphere, for charity
Not As Good: Kind of expensive, long lines, not much besides food

Our Verdict: Not Cheep enough*

*We're not saying that you shouldn't go next year, we're just letting you know we probably won't classify it as a cheep date. But, it helps the Greek Orthodox Church!

Fun Greek dancing (and you could join in!)

Hmm...this may have contributed to how long the lines felt.

You aren't kidding. The lines are pretty long and the food just isn't up to par with the homemade Greek food I've had in my Greek friends' homes. (it should be kept in mind that they are making them in mass and it probably can't be expected to be as good).

Plus, like you said...the food is expensive. When we go, we just buy one food item to share and then spend the rest of the time enjoying the sites and sounds. We are usually out of there in an hour and a half.

Totally agree with your review. The Greek Festival in SLC usually has art work and jewelry and other stuff to see and do.
